Good Morning, Sugar Pies. How are y'all doing this morning?
I am doing a little better.
Lingering congestion in my chest, still tired, and a slight headache to boot....
But, you know what they say.
"The show must go on".....
And, so it shall.
I have been slowly plugging away at my lengthy list of "to do's".
And have decided that what I get done is what I get done.
Last night, my sister, her husband, and darling baby arrived.
(I will check with my sister and see if I can share her baby sweetness with y'all)
We all had supper at the main house.
And then, we came back home for early baths, and early bedtimes.
The little boys were asleep by 8:30.
And I was in bed, after a long soak with my Spiced Oatmeal Milk Bath, at 9:30.
So nice.....
Did any of you try it yet?
If so, what did you think?
Sure smells yummy and makes for some soft skin....in my humble opinion.
This morning.....
I am detecting some congestion in my littlest guy.
Which means.....Elderberry shots all around.
Which also means.
No holding of the baby.
Which is so hard for me.
As most of you know.....I am a baby lover.
And she looks quite lovely.
OK~
Moving on to last minute git ideas.
Do you need a little something fun, easy and inexpensive? Then this is a great project.
We made these for our family and a few others.
Personalized Snow Globe Ornaments~
It's very simple. All you need is a box of clear glass ornaments.
Your favorite scrapbook letter stickers.
And pretend snow.
These little, itty-bitty, foam balls are perfect for this.
We found ours in the Christmas craft section at Hobby Lobby.
You could also use glitter as well.
Then a fun ribbon, fabric or jute for hanging.
And it works like this.
#1 Place the stickers.
#2 Fill the ornament a 1/3 of the way full with your "snow".
#3 Add your fabric tie, ribbon or jute.
#4 Wrap and give.
Or hang on your tree!
But.....
A note of caution.
Those little foamy beads.....
Are a mess.
Make sure to fill your ornaments over a container.
Or you will have foamies everywhere!
Also, you may or may not want to do this without the "help" of a "me do too", three year old.
Just sayin'......
Wasn't that easy?
The possibilities are endless.
The time to create, super fast.
The cuteness factor.....
A 10.
And....everything you need is 1/2 price at Hobby Lobby.
Woo-Hoo!
XO
p.s. Thank you all for your sweet comments, concern, and recommendations, for quick healing.
You are the best bloggy readers!
For sure.
p.p.s It's snowing again.
Love it!
p.p.p.s I have one more sweet ornament idea for you. It's perfect for a gift to grandparents or anyone else who loves your little people. I will try and post it a little later today.
And if you want to grab some larger sized, non breakable, Christmas ball ornaments, and a bottle of white craft paint....you'll have just what we need for the next craft. K?
