That y'all have been on pins and needles waiting for me to finally post this, huh?
I know. I know.
With all of your free time......
Or.
Perfect for a little Sweet Country Love, that you can give yourself, tonight at bath time.
Which....... let me see a show of hands.
Who reading, loves a good long bubble bath?
Me
Me
Me
And even though this won't bubble.
It will nourish your heart, skin and soul.
Spiced Oatmeal Milk Bath
4 cups of powdered milk
2 cups of baking soda
2 cups of finely ground oatmeal
4 tsp of cinnamon
1/2 tsp of nutmeg
1/2 tsp of cardamom
Mix all of these ingredients together in a food processor or blender.
Which is what I used. Since I don't have a food processor.
You are looking for a very fine soft powder.
Spoon into the container of your choice.
I used half pint jars.
Add your embellishment of choice.
Sigh over your pretty, nourishing package.
And give!
Wasn't that easy?
I know! I love gifts like this!
Some of the other gifts that I will be giving this year.
Pancake mixes with Apple Cider Syrup.
Wild Rice and Mushroom soup mixes.
Super Spicy Jalapeno Jam
Fiesta Rice mixes.
Turkey Noodle Soup mix.
Split Pea Soup mix.
French Bread and Homemade Jam.
Along with the Peach Butter, here.
And the Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Granola, here.
And anything else that grabs my fancy at the last minute.
Counting down at the Country House......
XO
p.s. Up next.
Easy~Peasy Monogrammed Ornaments.

This sounds delightful! I could use a good, long soak in the tub right now!
Oh so glad you posted this! Will be making some, pronto!
This is certainly interesting, Kristin. Do you find yourself getting hungry while you soak?
You know, Cardamom is extremely hard to find where I live, and it is also very pricey. Do you have a secret stash somewhere? Does it add to the relaxing atmosphere?
I'm big on giving home made gifts to my friends, and they LOVE them. So glad to see that you enjoy giving from your heart as well.
Just came by again to get my ingredient list!!!!
SQUEAL!! :-)
This would be a great gift for the girls at work. I love reading peoples blogs. There are so many clever people out there.
Sounds wonderful! All of your homemade gifts are so heartfelt and dear, your recipients are lucky!
I always wished I was a long, hot, bubbly, soaking bath kind of ethereal girl, but alas, I am not. I am more on the tomboy side and that's probably why I don't have a lot of girlfriends! But, oh, how I wish I was!
Merry Christmas to you and your dear family!
Johanna
...i'm certain I will make this tomorrow;-)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
